People have been enjoying the special charm of the building for over 100 years. The Kurhaus has been used as a meeting place for conferences, exhibitions, conventions, gala dinners and concerts since 1906.

The heart of the Kurhaus is the Friedrich-von-Thiersch-Saal boasting a permanent, modular stage that can be enlarged, backstage access with artists’ dressing rooms and a wrap-around balcony on the 1st floor with a good view of the stage. 

The Friedrich-von-Thiersch-Saal is complemented by the adjoining foyer which can be used for guest registration, as an exhibition or catering area. The 360 m²  Christian-Zais-Saal as well as a total of 10 other rooms of various sizes can be booked additionally for breakouts, exhibition etc.

The Winter Garden with its patio and view of the Kurpark Pond is suitable for a break surrounded by nature. This ambience is perfect for your conference guests to refuel new energy!

Planning and organisation made easy

The cost of an event in the Kurhaus depends on different basic conditions such as the time of the event, number of participants, event format, desired seating arrangement, desired technical equipment and catering for the guests.

The following questions help us to make you an individual offer: 

  • How many and what size rooms are needed?
  • How many participants are expected at the convention/conference?
  • What is the preferred seating arrangement?
  • Which target group is to be addressed?
  • Desired date and possible alternative dates? Please note the event calendar of the City of Wiesbaden (Veranstaltungskalender der Stadt Wiesbaden) (Öffnet in einem neuen Tab) with regard to planned hotel and carpark occupancy.
  • Are set-up and de-rigging days required?
  • Are backstage areas needed for speakers and the like?
  • Which technology is needed?
  • Will there be use of WLAN?
  • Is catering required? Our exclusive caterer BENNER’s Bistronomie & Catering will be happy to make a customised offer for your event. 

The way to your convention, your conference in the Kurhaus:

  1. Send your request (Anfrage) to our event service with information and basic data about your event.
  2. We will make you an individual offer after receiving your query.
  3. If desired and requested to do so, we will coordinate our gastronomy and technology partners for you.
  4. After conclusion of the contract, we will provide a Project Manager from our experienced, professional team who will support you from the organisation to the successful execution of your event.

Our service for your event

Our professional team will discuss your event with you in detail and find the optimum room solution for your convention. From the offer phase to the successful execution of the event, you will have a Project Manager at your side who will support and advise you. We will also be happy to take care of coordinating our service providers in the catering and technology areas for you!

In addition to the event-related services, we offer you other benefits. You receive a wide range of additional services as add-ons – free of charge.

Your way to us in the Kurhaus

The Kurhaus Wiesbaden is located in the Kurpark, the green heart of the city, just a few minutes walking distance from the city centre.

The central location of the Kurhaus, directly beside the Hessian State Theatre Wiesbaden enables the event guests to reach conference hotels, boutiques, restaurants, cafés as well as several museums and art galleries on foot.

The Kurhaus is just five bus-stops from Wiesbaden main train station, approx. 1.5 kilometres away. The RheinMain CongressCenter is only about ten minutes on foot.
